of an Ovation Distributor
Our success is
in our people. Many of our current distributors have been
representing Ovation Cosmetics since the 1960's. Our distributors
come from all walks of life, accountants, nurses, homemakers,
and many more categories. The one quality that each of our
distributors have in common is their love of our products
and their belief in what our products can do for the consumer.
We have recently
began an aggressive advertising program to increase our distributor
base in many states. You may have been directed to this page
by reading one of our advertisements for new distributors.
We are looking
for individuals who can get excited and enthusiastic about
our products. We will provide you with literature to assist
you in learning about our products. You will find the best
results come from demonstrating Ovation products to your contacts
and by word of mouth contact. You must enjoy meeting and talking
to people, have good communication skills and be willing to
manage your own time.
All Ovation Distributors
are independent contractors and are free to set their own
hours and market the products in whatever way they feel comfortable.
You're income will be dependant on the time and effort you
devote to marketing.
Current Ovation Distributor Opportunities
The Opportunity
There has never been a better time in Ovations 45 year history for an independent Ovation representative to become financially independent. We have created 5 new opportunities for independent Ovation Representatives. Each of these five opportunities will assist Ovation in developing a new major distribution system and gain a much larger market share among our competitors. The five opportunities are: Market Locator, Direct Distributor, Small Business Development Specialist, Medium Size Business Development Specialist, and Large Size Business Development Specialist.
Market Locator: A Market Locator, hereinafter referred to as a ML, is an individual who seeks out small or medium size retailers that would have an interest in placing Ovation products in their retail locations. The ML will receive a Direct Distributor discount for personal purchases by providing the home office with a minimum of 8 potential market leads each month. The leads must be retailers that have been defined as a small or medium retail prospect. No leads will be accepted if they fall within the definition of a Large Retail prospect. Leads consisting of someone who works out of their house will not be accepted. The ML will provide the home office with a local small or medium size business name, contact person, address and telephone number of the potential retailer. The first ML to register a name will receive credit for that name. Another ML who attempts to register the same name will not be given credit for that name. In the event the potential retailer becomes a new retailer for Ovation Cosmetics, the ML who is on file for registering the name will receive a finder’s fee equivalent to 1% of purchases for the first 90 days. After 90 days the ML will receive no further compensation. All ML's will be expected to attend ML Certification training once each year at a location near them.
Direct Distributor: A Direct Distributor, hereinafter referred to as a DD, is someone who “actively” purchases Ovation products from the home office at a discount and resells directly to the consumer. An active DD places at least one product order monthly to the home office and maintains a minimum of $350 in quarterly purchases. Sale items will not be counted toward the production requirements. A DD whose production falls below these minimum amounts may be reduced to a ML or to a retail customer with no discount. Once a DD meets the qualifications of a DD, and whose monthly purchases reach $1,500 for three consecutive months may, if requested and approved, be offered an opportunity to participate as a Small Business Development Specialist. All Direct Distributors are expected to attend a Direct Distributor Certification training class provided at a location near them. Recertification training will be once each year at a location near them.
Small Business Development Specialist: A Small Business Development Specialist, hereinafter referred to as a SBDS, has demonstrated to the home office their knowledge of Ovation Products, has met the requirements of a Direct Distributor and has passed the SBDS Certification training qualifications to enter the SBDS market. Recertification training will be conducted annually. The SBDS will call on Companies that have been identified as fitting into the Small Company category. The SBDS can purchase directly from the company at a Direct Distributor Discount products for personal consumption and direct to consumer sales.
Medium Business Development Specialist: A Medium Business Development Specialist hereinafter referred to as MBDS, has demonstrated to the home office their knowledge of Ovation Products, has met the requirements of a SBDS and has passed the MBDS certification training qualifications to enter the MBDS market. Recertification training will be conducted annually. The MBDS will call on Companies that have been identified as fitting into the Medium Size Company category. The MBDS can purchase directly from the company at a Direct Distributor Discount, products for personal consumption and direct to consumer sales.
Large Business Development Specialist: A Large Business Development Specialist hereinafter referred to as LBDS, has demonstrated to the home office their knowledge of Ovation Products, has met the requirements of MBDS and has passed the LBDS certification training qualifications to enter the LBDS market. Recertification training will be conducted annually. The LBDS will call on Companies that have been identified as fitting into the Large Size Company category. The LBDS can purchase directly from the company at a Direct Distributor Discount, products for personal consumption and direct to consumer sales
